Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup margarine, softened, ¼ cup sugar, 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 cup heavy cream, whipped, and 1 (12.5 ounce) can cherry pie filling (or other filling of your choice)
Explicitly, you may use sour cherries if you desire to give your no-bake cherry cheesecake a bright red topping. This gives a purpler tint to your cake. Of course, if you want to make it gluten-free, use gluten-free crackers.
Directions
- Mix together margarine, sugar and graham cracker crumbs. Press the mixture into a pile plate that goes up to the plate’s both sides if possible.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, vanilla and sugar until it smooths and becomes spreadable. Whisk the whipped cream into the cheese cream. Pour the prepared mixture into the crust. Smoothen the top with a spatula and refrigerate until it becomes firm for two to three hours.
- Spread the cherry filing over the top and chill until serving.
